1. Overview

Litecissa is designed as a local-first and encrypted photo storage service. We minimize data collection by design. Your photos are encrypted on your device before upload and cannot be viewed or accessed by us or any third party.

2. Information We Collect

  • Account information: email address used for registration and authentication.
  • Support information: name, email, and message content submitted through our contact form.
  • Analytics: anonymous, cookieless usage data via a self-hosted Plausible instance. No personal identifiers are collected.

3. How We Use Information

We use account information solely for authentication and account recovery. Contact form submissions are used to respond to inquiries. Analytics are used to understand general usage patterns and improve the service.

4. Sharing and Processors

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes. We use the following processors: Supabase (authentication and metadata), Arweave (decentralized encrypted storage), Resend (transactional email), and a self-hosted Plausible instance (analytics).

5. Storage and Retention

Your encrypted photo data is stored permanently on the Arweave network. Account metadata is stored in Supabase. Contact form submissions are retained for as long as necessary to respond and follow up. You may request deletion of your account information at any time.

6. Security

All photos are encrypted end-to-end with AES-256-GCM before upload. Your encryption key is derived locally and never transmitted to our servers. We employ HTTPS for all data in transit and follow security best practices.

7. Your Rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information at any time by contacting us at service-tw@litecissa.com.

8. Cross-Border Processing

Your data may be processed and stored in jurisdictions outside your country of residence, including the United States and other locations where our processors operate.

9. Policy Updates

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or in-app notification. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance.
